Arizona Christian University
Arizona Christian University, formerly known as Southwestern College, is a regionally accredited four-year college in Arizona that is also accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education, offering exciting majors in Business Administration, Biblical Studies, Behavioral Health, Family Studies, Christian Ministries, Elementary & Secondary Education, Music Education and Music Ministry. Established in 1960, Southwestern College has maintained its original concept as a not for profit intentionally Christian college. Located in the central part of north Phoenix, students are within easy driving distance of numerous attractions, including the Grand Canyon and Lake Havasu. Snow skiing, water skiing, or a trip into Mexico is also easily accessible. On campus, students enjoy a multitude of opportunities to learn and practice positive leadership skills and participate in meaningful social contexts, through extracurricular activities and organizations like the Student Missions Fellowship, Christian Service teams, choral groups, praise and worship bands, and more. A variety of intercollegiate and intramural sports are also offered.
